About the opportunity

We are seeking a motivated Workshop Production Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of our busy workshop. As the Workshop Production Supervisor, you’ll oversee workshop operations to ensure production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll lead a skilled team, coordinate daily workflow, and manage resources to deliver on-time results that meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily production and ensure operational excellence across all workshop activities.

  • Drive a strong safety culture, promoting Sandvik’s Zero Harm vision.

  • Plan and allocate jobs to optimise efficiency and meet project deadlines.

  • Maintain quality control, equipment readiness, and effective inventory management.

  • Collaborate with engineering, logistics, and customer teams to ensure seamless delivery.

  • Build strong relationships with customers, providing updates and resolving issues promptly.

  • Lead and develop your team, fostering continuous improvement and accountability.

About you

We’re looking for a practical, people-oriented leader with strong organisational and communication skills. You will bring:

  • A trade qualification and experience in workshop or production supervision, ideally within mining, heavy equipment, or manufacturing.

  • Excellent leadership and time management skills.

  • A strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

  • Confidence working with Microsoft Office (especially Project and Excel).

  • The ability to balance priorities in a fast-moving environment and deliver high-quality results.
