Graduate program

Nine persons standing in a group looking in to the cameraWhat if your first job after university was a global adventure? Discover how the Global Graduate Program at Sandvik opens doors to a world of opportunity.

In September 2025, we proudly welcomed the seventh cohort of our Global Graduate Program — nine outstanding individuals from across the globe, ready to embark on an exciting journey with Sandvik. Representing China, Sweden, India, Finland, Brazil, and the USA, this diverse group brings fresh perspectives, energy, and ambition to our global organization.

  • About the program

The Global Graduate Program (GGP) is designed to attract top talent in key markets, strengthen our employer brand, and accelerate the development of future leaders and experts across Sandvik.

Over the course of 15 months, participants engage in a rotation-based experience, taking on three different projects across various business areas and countries. This hands-on approach offers a deep dive into our operations and culture, while building a strong foundation for a global career.

But GGP is more than just project work. Through:

    • Four immersive learning modules
    • Continuous coaching and mentorship
    • A strong focus on personal and professional growth

…our graduates are empowered to thrive from day one.

We’re excited to follow the journey of this new generation of Sandvik professionals — and we can’t wait to see the impact they’ll make.

GGP7 Kicks Off in Sweden

In September, our Global Graduate Program 7 participants gathered in Sweden for their first learning module, officially launching their 15-month journey with Sandvik.

During the module, they explored all business areas, met with leaders, and gained valuable insights into our strategy and culture — laying the foundation for collaboration and cross-functional understanding.

Now, they’ve started their first rotations in their home countries in different business areas:

Mining – Maria Julia Rettore & Victor Hugo Moraes (Brazil), Miika Laitinen (Finland)
Rock Processing – Melker Widlund (Sweden), Katri Säily (Finland)
Intelligent Manufacturing – Natalie Tulchinsky (USA)
Machining – Bhaskar Chakraborty (India), Fuyao Tang (China)
Group Functions – Kalle Josefsson (Sweden)

We’re excited to follow their journey — and the impact they’ll make across Sandvik.
