The latest issue of Meet Sandvik focuses on South America, a continent characterized by vast natural resources, a growing manufacturing sector and a transition toward green technologies.
South America accounts for 7 percent of total Sandvik revenues, with Brazil ranking as its 12th-largest market and Chile as its 15th-largest. The magazine highlights the Group’s expanding role in the region, where advanced mining equipment, digital solutions and tool manufacturing support customers across South America.
Readers will meet José Camacho and follow his inspiring journey from the son of a street vendor to Managing Director of Sandvik Coromant in Brazil. We also visit Olympico Club in Belo Horizonte, a Sandvik partner dedicated to youth development and social inclusion.
