Employee surveys
In this section
To build an engaged workforce and provide a positive employee experience we recognize it is more important than ever to understand and act upon employee ideas, needs and concerns.
We conduct quarterly so called Pulse surveys with the purpose of measuring our employees' satisfaction and engagement levels. The Pulse survey gives us both deep and real-time insights for our future improvements in employee experience and satisfaction.
Examples of actions taken based on survey results
Several actions have been taken in different parts of our organization, depending on the survey results for each unit or department.
At the same time, several Group-level initiatives were launched to support what matters most to our employees. For example:
- Strengthening workers' everyday experience
With an increased focus on leadership in manufacturing and supply chain across Sandvik. All three scores for workers improved, for the second year in a row. - Improving fairness and opportunity
We have seen high engagement in the Sandvik Inclusion Intro Training across the company together with the Unbiased Performance Development program for all managers to ensure fair, grounded evaluations. - Building trust through pay transparency
The Pay Transparency & Equity efforts have advanced, with dedicated training for HR and managers, responding to legislation in different parts of the world. - Responding to mental well-being concerns
New health and well-being collaboration efforts, including mental health awareness and support pilots, contributed to another improvement in the Health & Well-being score.
