Inventory Planner

Sandvik Mining and Construction DRC is a Sales Unit based in Lubumbashi, within Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions, a Business Area, a leading supplier of equipment and tools, service and support for the mining industry. We also provide solutions and expertise across a wide range of applications, including rock drilling, rock cutting, loading and hauling, tunnelling, and quarrying.

Responsible for inventory demand forecasting, strategic stock process support and operational performance reporting.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for stock, goods in transit, and OSMi in the stockrooms of responsibility.

  • Responsible for analysing and maintaining inventory parameter settings for standard assortment in the stockrooms of responsibility.

  • Responsible for the strategic stock in the stockrooms of responsibility.

  • Ensures coordination with relevant stakeholders regarding any improvement activities related to inventory control.

  • Responsible for analysis and driving stock optimisation initiatives (i.e.: returns process) on a regular basis.

  • Monitor stock distribution and align adequately for optimisation

  • Critical Spares Tracking

  • Liaise with end users and OBP to ensure parts and tools FC’s are aligned

  • Responsible for aligning schedule with relevant stakeholders.
