The Warehouse Technician is responsible for the shipment, receipt, and distribution of materials in a timely and accurate manner. You will assist with shipping and receiving, unload trucks, check in materials and store them in the appropriate location. You also will file appropriate documentation and process sales orders and invoices in accordance with company process.

Business area Mining is a global leading supplier of equipment and tools, parts, service, digital solutions and sustainability-driving technologies for the mining and construction industries. Applications include rock drilling, rock cutting, loading and hauling, tunneling and quarrying.

This Warehouse Operator will be an onsite role in Phoenix, AZ

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update and maintain warehouse location system
  • Assist in cycle counting and physical inventory
  • Prepare export documentation as required
  • Maintain shipping supplies inventory
  • Arrange shipping/transport
  • Accept/reject vendor inventory transactions
  • Build sound relationships with the workshop team and internal and external customers to ensure smooth operations
  • Participate in customer on-call service as required
  • Expedite urgent orders to ensure customer receives when needed
  • Identify and report any unsafe work habits, workplace incidents and / or near misses
  • Comply with SMRT safety policies and applicable government, customer, or industry regulations or requirements
  • Accounts for all materials and supplies in the stores facilities; audits goods received into warehouse.
  • Oversees receipt, storage and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures.
  • Prepares and coordinates schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space.
  • Ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment.
  • You can operate a forklift, and be capable of lifting 50 lbs.
  • Performs other relevant duties as assigned by Warehouse Supervisor

Minimum Qualifications:

  • You possess a high school diploma or equivalent years of experience in a warehouse environment
  • 6 months related warehouse experience
  • Ability to successfully operate forklift

Preferred qualifications:

Proficient computer skills (receiving orders / locating parts)

Functions effectively without assistance or direction from others (Independent worker)

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Compensation Range: $22 to $25/hour

Work authorization

Must have the legal right to work in the United States on an indefinite basis without employer sponsorship.
(Please note: temporary work authorizations, including OPT, do not meet this requirement.)
