About the Role:

Based at Narangba and reporting to the Senior Inventory and Logistics Officer, this role is responsible for coordinating and managing import and export shipments to ensure the timely, compliant and cost‑effective movement of goods. The Logistics Officer – Import/Export plays a key role in managing container movements, maintaining trade and customs compliance, and working closely with internal stakeholders and external logistics partners to support business operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate international import and export shipments end to end
  • Manage container movements, vessel schedules and ETAs
  • Prepare and maintain import/export documentation
  • Ensure compliance with customs and trade regulations
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines and transport providers
  • Control container flow, detention and demurrage costs
  • Provide clear shipment updates to stakeholders
  • Support cost control, reporting and stocktakes

About You:

You bring experience in import/export or international freight coordination, with a solid understanding of container movements, shipping processes and trade compliance. You’re highly organised, confident working with freight forwarders and internal stakeholders, and comfortable managing multiple shipments and priorities. Detail‑focused and proactive, you take pride in keeping things compliant, on time and cost‑effective while contributing positively to a close‑knit logistics team.
