About the Opportunity
As our Key Parts and Service Sales Representative, you will manage and grow a strategically important customer account. You will build strong, long-term partnerships by understanding your customer’s business, aligning with their strategic priorities, and delivering tailored value propositions.
In this role, you’ll focus on developing senior-level relationships and positioning Sandvik as a trusted partner across both current operations and future mine planning activities. You will play a key part in integrating our solutions into the customer’s projects, while actively identifying new opportunities to support their success and drive sustainable growth.
You’re proactive in understanding customer needs, committed to delivering value, and always looking for ways to expand the relationship and uncover new business opportunities
Responsibilities
- Identify and progress aftermarket sales opportunities from initial engagement through to completion
- Drive sales growth across the full range of Sandvik aftermarket products and service offerings
- Analyse customer fleet performance to uncover gaps and identify improvement opportunities
- Deliver against agreed sales targets and performance objectives
- Ensure all customer accounts operate in line with agreed commercial terms and conditions
- Support the resolution of outstanding debtors through proactive follow-up and customer engagement
- Act as the key point of contact for aftermarket matters, ensuring timely resolution of customer issues
- Forecast parts demand by aligning with customer maintenance plans to ensure availability and continuity of supply
About you
- Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills, with the ability to build trust and engage confidently at all levels
- Excellent communication skills, with a proactive and customer-focused approach
- Sound understanding of customer operations, with the ability to align solutions to business needs
- Proven ability to identify and deliver business growth opportunities, with demonstrated results
- Highly self-motivated, with strong drive, resilience, and a commitment to achieving targets and delivering exceptional customer outcomes
What you’ll bring
- Mechanical trade qualification, sales experience, or a relevant tertiary degree
- Exposure to underground mining environments
- Demonstrated success in an account management or customer support role within a commercial setting
- Confidence working in underground environments when required, and willingness to travel regionally (up to 40%)
- Experience in parts and service sales is highly regarded
- Knowledge of Sandvik equipment or similar mining products (surface or underground) will be an advantage
