Product Support Manager - Ground Support
Take your underground expertise to one of the world’s largest and most advanced mining operations. A leading global OEM in mining technology is seeking a Ground Support Product Manager to drive performance, innovation, and operational excellence at a world-class mining operation.
About the Role
This is a site-based position managing a Ground Support contract, working closely with operations, technical teams, and senior stakeholders to ensure strong product performance, contract delivery, and customer value.
Key Responsibilities
Lead product performance, trials, audits, and technical problem-solving
Build strong relationships with engineering, operations, and purchasing teams
Drive KPIs, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
Provide product training and technical support
Identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency
Ensure strict EHS compliance
Act as the primary technical point of contact at site
Job Requirements
Relevant qualifications in mining engineering, operations, and/or mining technology
Previous experience in contracts management, continuous improvement and/or Customer Relationship Management role
Experience in U/GMining or U/G Construction
Exposure and an understanding of ground support products and applications
Proven ability to engage, influence and develop effective relationships with key stakeholders to deliver results
Excellent skills in documentation, report writing and presentation
Strong presentation skills
Mechanically inclined
Proficient “local” language would be an added advantage
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and adaptable to various software programs, including ERP system
Ability to prepare detailed reports and correspondence
