WAREHOUSE OPERATOR - Lubumbashi

Sandvik Mining and Construction DRC is a Sales Unit based in Lubumbashi within Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions, a Business Area and a leading supplier of equipment, tools, services, and support for the mining industry. We also provide solutions and expertise across a wide range of applications, including rock drilling, rock cutting, loading and hauling, tunnelling, and quarrying.

The Role

The purpose of this role is:

To ensure stock accuracy & efficiency when receiving, picking / packing and dispatching goods.

Your mission

  • Receive goods accurately against delivery notes and purchase orders

  • Bin and store items in the correct locations following system rules

  • Pick, pack, and issue stock in the correct quantities and condition

  • Support inter‑warehouse and stockroom transfers

  • Assist with the loading and offloading of deliveries

  • Ensure that receiving and issuing documents are correctly filed

  • Report stock shortages, damages, or discrepancies immediately

  • Participate in:

    • Weekly cycle counts and bin verifications

    • Quarterly and annual stock takes

  • Support invoice follow‑ups related to GRNs and deliveries

  • Assist with weekly deliveries and cross-docking activities

  • Ensure proof of delivery is completed and returned

  • Comply fully with company EHS policies and procedures

Your profile

We are looking for a Congolese (DRC) citizen with a Certificate/ Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain Management, a comprehensive background in a similar role within Logistics, and experience in a customer service role.

To be successful in the role, you need a good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure/cost of poor quality

As we act in a global context, you are good in both English and French, writing and speaking, and computer literacy and ERP knowledge are advantageous.
