We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Position Overview

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and installation of the plant’s equipment. This role plays a key part in supporting efficient operations by maintaining equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Main Duties

  • Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
  • Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
  • Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
  • Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
  • Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow all safety procedures and immediately report hazards or unsafe conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable local regulations.
  • Assist with emergency response procedures when required.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, sit or be in other physically demanding positions for long periods of time.
  • Able to lift 50lbs.
  • Assist with the training of additional employees.

Other Duties

  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in facility maintenance
  • Basic working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
  • Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment, power tools, and hand tools
  • Strong attention to detail, time-management, and organizational skills

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Capable of bending, climbing, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
