Sandvik Digital Business Capabilities (DBC) is Business Area Mining's internal organization responsible for applications, databases, cloud services and in management of IT Supply both in terms of our internal IT production, external suppliers, and managed services.
IT Service Delivery R&D is a group of global experts working closely together with Sandvik Business Areas in their PLM programs and R&D Related IT Solutions. Our largest service Teamcenter PLM is a business-critical and globally used by approximately 4000 end users.
To answer the continuously increasing needs, we are now looking for an experienced System Administrator to our Operations team. The position is permanent, full-time, and located in Bangalore or Pune. Focus is to support and develop Siemens Teamcenter solutions with a focus on Product Configurator and Dispatcher services.
Your role and key responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous development of key Teamcenter capabilities that enable product configuration and automated processing workflows across the organization. In this role you will work closely with PLM solution architects, developers, and business stakeholders in a global environment and cross-functional organization.
Product Configurator (Variant Configuration)
- Administer and support Teamcenter Product Configurator
- Manage configuration rules, options, and constraints
- Troubleshoot configuration issues and improve performance
- Support business in defining and validating rules
Global dispatcher solutions administrator
- Configure and maintain Teamcenter Dispatcher services
- Monitor and troubleshoot translation and processing jobs (e.g., CAD, PDF, visualization)
- Manage dispatcher queues, translators, and job routing
- Ensure stable integration with external tools
Your background
- Proven experience as a System Administrator or Application Administrator for Siemens Teamcenter
- Hands‑on experience with Teamcenter Product Configurator (CTO) and/or Dispatcher services
- Strong understanding of CTO, configure‑to‑order, or variant configuration concepts
- Operational experience with EasyPlan
- Experience working with multi‑BOM models (e.g. EBOM, MBOM, SBOM) in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with manufacturing, engineering, and order‑to‑delivery processes
- Experience supporting automated workflows, integrations, or background services
- Ability to troubleshoot system, configuration, and data‑related issues in complex environments
- Comfortable collaborating with solution architects, developers, and business stakeholders
- Structured and detail‑oriented approach to change management, testing, and documentation
- Strong communication skills and experience working in a global organization
