Position Overview:
As a Data Engineer, you transform business and data requirements into efficient pipelines that deliver high-quality data assets across all medallion layers. You design and optimize data flows, collaborate with architects on solutions, ensure performance and reliability, and promote reuse through documentation and knowledge sharing.
We recruit for multiple positions with different seniority levels.
Key Responsibilities:
ELT Implementation: Translate requirements into Extract-Load-Transform pipelines for bronze, silver, and gold layers.
Design Collaboration: Work closely with Data Architects for optimal technical solution designs.
Adoption Collaboration: Work with Analytical Engineers, AI Engineers, and Data Analysts to ensure data assets meet requirements.
Performance Optimization: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipeline performance for reliability and scalability.
Knowledge Sharing: Promote asset reuse through documentation, collaboration, and technical training.
Deploy & Support: Deploy, monitor, and provide third-level support for data assets.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in IT, Computer Sciences.
• Minimum 2 to 8 years of experience in a leading data engineering role, dependent on the seniority level of the position.
• Minimum 2 to 8 years of experience in agile product team organization.
• Proven hands-on expertise with (Azure) Databricks Lakehouse technology.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure, and related services
• Hands-on experience with Business Intelligence technologies is beneficial. Preferably Microsoft Power BI.
• Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
• For senior roles: Experience leading development teams, including task delegation and mentoring junior developers
