Frontend Software Engineer

Do you thrive on transforming legacy systems into cutting-edge digital experiences? Are you passionate about driving modern architecture and AI innovation in the front-end space? At Sandvik and Tool Flow Solutions, you join a global team committed to building advanced solutions that shape the future of tool management.

Why join us?

  • Work with next-generation cloud-native SaaS products in a dynamic environment.
  • Drive modernization with the latest Angular technologies and AI-driven practices.
  • Be part of a collaborative culture focused on quality, learning, and innovation.

Your mission

You play a key role in designing and modernizing Cribwise’s cloud-based Tool Management solutions, leading the transition from AngularJS to a modern Angular architecture. You collaborate closely with product, UX, backend, and platform teams to deliver secure and user-focused applications that meet evolving customer needs.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the migration to Angular, define architecture and implementation strategies.
  • Establish coding standards and best practices for scalable, maintainable front-end solutions.
  • Integrate AI-driven tools and methods into development workflows to accelerate innovation.
  • Build accessible, high-performing UIs that meet compliance and security standards.
  • Partner with backend and DevOps teams to ensure robust cloud-native operations on Azure.
  • Mentor developers and promote knowledge sharing across the team.

This role is based in Stockholm, Sweden or Tübingen, Germany.

Your profile

You’re highly skilled in modern Angular, TypeScript, and component-based architecture, with strong experience in migrating from legacy frameworks. You’re comfortable with cloud-native SaaS development, and you’ve worked with automated testing frameworks and secure coding practices. You’ve also got hands-on experience with AI-assisted tools and a passion to embrace future-ready development practices.

You bring:

  • Deep, hands-on Angular experience (v17+ minimum), you understand the framework’s internals, not just its APIs. Signals, standalone components, the new control flow syntax. You also know what is depreciated and what is suggested by Angular team.
  • Strong TypeScript and RxJS skills. You know when observables are the right tool and when signals or simple state are better.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development and next-gen engineering methods.
  • Solid testing discipline. Vitest, Playwright, Cypress, or similar. You write tests because they catch real bugs, not because a coverage metric told you to.
  • Knowledge of GDPR, CRA, and cybersecurity essentials.

You’re proactive, collaborative, and a natural problem-solver. You love mentoring others and translating technical ideas into clear business value. With curiosity and adaptability, you keep raising the bar for innovation and technical excellence.
