Business Controller
Load & Haul Division within Sandvik Mining is an industry leading global provider of loaders and trucks for underground mining industry with focus on technology development and future innovative solutions to enable sustainable operations for our customers.
Division Business Control team is currently looking for a proactive and analytical Business Controller to strengthen our ability to support our business in driving performance and decision-making. The position is full-time, permanent and located in Turku, Finland.
Your role
As Business Controller, you will contribute to reaching the overall operational and financial goals. As part of the Division Business Control team, you take part in division monthly reporting and forecasting processes by delivering consolidated reports, value-added comments and insights that enable informed decision-making.
In this role, you act as a trusted financial partner providing reliable financial analysis, while identifying opportunities to improve and developing financial reporting, partnering closely with key stakeholders and proactively supporting the business with insights that drive performance. Division Business Control team acts as business partner for division level functions, i.e. Product offering, Sales support, R&D, Technical services. You also contribute to division-wide initiatives and developing financial reporting to support decision making.
Your background and what we find important
We’re looking for someone with a degree in Finance or Business Administration and experience in business controlling, preferably in manufacturing environment. You bring a solid understanding of financial processes, reporting, accounting, combined with data-analysis skills and experience working with MS Office tools, such as Excel, Power BI and Power Point. Overall understanding of ERP systems, business processes, project management, data modelling and visualization is considered as an advantage.
You are highly organized, possess strong analytical skills, have a keen attention to detail, ability to understand complex entities and translating data into clear, understandable insights. You are flexible, react well to change and remain calm in the face of challenges. You work efficiently both independently and as part of a team, prioritize effectively, and deliver high-quality results within deadlines — even under pressure. You are comfortable working in an international environment and collaborate easily with diverse stakeholders. Acting in a truly global environment calls for excellent skills in English, verbally and in writing. We value a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and hands-on approach.
