Business Controller

Do you want to influence financial performance on a global scale? If you’re motivated by turning complex data into insights that support decision-making in an industrial environment, we have an opening for you!

At Business Area Rock Processing and Division Crushing Solutions, we’re looking for a Business Controller who brings well-rounded financial expertise, a keen understanding of sales and manufacturing, and a big-picture perspective. You have a talent for identifying opportunities, driving improvements, and automating business processes to enhance overall performance.

Why Sandvik?

This is a role with real impact. You will be part of a global division, working closely with management and key stakeholders to drive performance, profitability, and continuous improvement. We offer you:

  • Exposure to a global industrial organization.
  • A central role in business planning and performance follow-up.
  • Close collaboration with operations and production-related stakeholders.
  • The opportunity to challenge, influence, and improve how we work.

About your job

In this role, you support the division’s full financial scope. You combine analytical work with hands-on business support, which requires close interaction with both local and global stakeholders. You report to the Director of Business Control and work closely with the division management team, BA Finance, and Group Finance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Drive financial planning, including budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitor and analyse financial performance against targets.
  • Prepare business reviews and decision-support material.
  • Support profitability and net working capital improvements.
  • Identify core business issues and initiate performance improvements.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Secure compliance with internal frameworks and global regulations.

Location and flexibility

The location for this position is Svedala, Sweden, with a global scope, supporting international divisions.

Your profile

To be successful in this position, you have:

  • A university degree in finance or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in finance and business control, preferably from an international, industrial setting.
  • Solid knowledge of accounting and finance principles, including IFRS.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and business intelligence tools.
  • Strong communication skills in English, verbally and in writing.

You’re analytical, curious, and comfortable challenging the status quo in a constructive way. You enjoy collaborating across functions and levels and communicate financial insights clearly to non-finance stakeholders. Most importantly, you’re motivated by improving business performance — not just reporting on it.
