Job Responsibilities
- Supervise the EHS function, sets organizational priorities and allocates resources.
- Supervise the EHS management system locally.
- Monitor and report EHS performance and propose corrective actions.
- Responsible for maintaining and continuous improvements of local methods, training, tools and processes.
- Responsible for sharing of best practices.
- Responsible for environment, health and safety as per local legislation and other requirements.
- Ensure implementation of The Sandvik Way within area of responsibility.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 4 years in EHS, EHS system, or relevant experience.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Suite
- Experience in ISO 14001 & 45001 certification will be an added benefit
- Strong attention to detail with organizers and time management skills.
- Ability to travel locally and regionally as required
