Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise the EHS function, sets organizational priorities and allocates resources.
  • Supervise the EHS management system locally.
  • Monitor and report EHS performance and propose corrective actions.
  • Responsible for maintaining and continuous improvements of local methods, training, tools and processes.
  • Responsible for sharing of best practices.
  • Responsible for environment, health and safety as per local legislation and other requirements.
  • Ensure implementation of The Sandvik Way within area of responsibility.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years in EHS, EHS system, or relevant experience.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Suite
  • Experience in ISO 14001 & 45001 certification will be an added benefit
  • Strong attention to detail with organizers and time management skills.
  • Ability to travel locally and regionally as required
