Strategy Manager

Rock Processing is on a growth journey, do you want to work at the center of a strategically active agenda where long‑term vision meets hands‑on execution? This role combines high‑quality strategy work with the discipline of M&A integration-moving seamlessly from big‑picture thinking to real value delivery.

Why Sandvik?

At Business Area Rock Processing, strategy and execution go hand in hand. Here, you contribute where decisions matter and outcomes are visible. You get to:

  • Work close to senior leadership on business‑critical priorities

  • Shape strategy and see it through to measurable impact

  • Operate in a dynamic environment where priorities shift with the M&A cycle

About the job

As Strategy & Integration Manager, you play a dual role within the Strategy & Business Development team. The role spans business‑area strategy and end‑to‑end M&A integration, from early hypotheses to post‑close value realization. The balance between strategic planning and integration execution flexes depending on deal activity, giving the role a dynamic and varied scope. You report to the Vice President and Head of Strategy & Business Development.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to the annual strategic planning cycle and cross‑functional strategic initiatives

  • Produce high‑quality decision material, frameworks, and executive‑level communications

  • Design and facilitate strategy workshops with senior and cross‑functional stakeholders

  • Own M&A integration at business‑area level, from hypothesis development to execution oversight

  • Coordinate integration workstreams, resolve blockers, and maintain post‑close momentum

  • Support value realization by partnering with Finance on metrics, cadence, and follow‑up

Location and flexibility

The role is preferably based at the Malmö (Hyllie) office, with some international travel.

Your profile

You bring a strong strategic foundation combined with the structure and drive needed to manage complex integrations. Your background allows you to move confidently between analytical strategy work and hands‑on execution in cross‑functional environments.

Your background includes:

  • Degree in Engineering, Business Management, Economics, or a related field (MSc preferred)

  • Experience from top‑tier management consulting or a comparable in‑house strategy role in a multinational environment

  • Demonstrated involvement in M&A processes from a strategic, commercial, or integration perspective

  • Strong project management capability across complex, multi‑stakeholder initiatives

  • Advanced proficiency in AI and LLM tools

  • Fluency in English, written and spoken

You’re structured, persistent, and comfortable holding others accountable while maintaining strong relationships. You enjoy framing ambiguity, challenging assumptions, and turning complexity into clear direction. With strong integrity and discretion, you adapt your communication style effortlessly, whether facilitating a workshop or preparing a board‑level brief.

About the team

You join a close‑knit team of four colleagues, all based in Hyllie, working together across a global scope covering Strategy, M&A, and Business Development.
