The shares of Alleima, a global manufacturer of advanced stainless steels, special alloys and heating systems for the most demanding industries, commence trading on Nasdaq Stockholm today.
Alleima, formerly Sandvik Materials Technology, which is expected to be listed on Nasdaq Stockholm, today hosts its first Capital Markets Day, in Sandviken, Sweden.
Sandvik has signed and completed an agreement to acquire 100% of the equity interests in the Switzerland-based Sphinx Tools Ltd and its wholly owned subsidiary P. Rieger Werkzeugfabrik AG ("Sphinx Tools").
The Board of Directors of Sandvik has today set the record date to August 29, 2022. The prospectus relating to the admission to trading of Alleima shares on Nasdaq Stockholm is expected to be approved by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority later today.
Sandvik has completed the acquisition of the assets of US based company Balax, Inc. (“Balax”), a leading supplier of carbide and HSS cut taps and roll forming taps, primarily within the general engineering and automotive segments.
Sandvik has been awarded an order to supply a fleet of battery-electric trucks, loaders, drills and on-site service support for Foran Mining’s McIlvenna Bay project in Saskatchewan, Canada.
Sandvik has appointed Richard Harris as President of business area Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions (SRP) and new member of the Sandvik Group Executive Management, effective October 1, 2022.
