Meet Sandvik 1/2026 published

South America is a continent of vast natural resources, a growing manufacturing sector and a rapid shift toward green technologies. Its importance to Sandvik and the opportunities shaping the region’s future, is the theme of the latest issue of Meet Sandvik.

South America accounts for 7 percent of total Sandvik revenues, with Brazil ranking as the Group’s 12th-largest market and Chile as its 15th-largest. In this issue, we explore Our expanding role across the continent, from advanced mining equipment and digital solutions to cutting-tool manufacturing that supports customers in some of the region’s most dynamic industries.

You will meet José Camacho and follow his inspiring journey from the son of a street vendor to Managing Director of Sandvik Coromant in Brazil. We also visit Olympico Club in Belo Horizonte, a Sandvik partner using sport to create opportunities for young people and promote social inclusion.

In addition, the magazine features interviews with Karolina Malyska from Metrologic DCS, who describes metrology as the nervous system of modern manufacturing. Readers will also meet the winners of the Wilhelm Haglund Medal and the Sigrid Göransson Sustainability Award.
