Productive investments
December 2012: Sandvik is investing about 200 million SEK in Sandvik Coromant.
The investment relates to a new prototype workshop for cemented-carbide tools and a new Productivity and Application Center in Sandviken, Sweden, in addition to a new Application Center at the existing production unit in Langfang, China.
"The investments represent part of our future strategy to ensure that the most efficient applications and training methods are used in our operations", says Sandvik Coromant President Klas Forsström.
