Major orders in Australia and Indonesia
Sandvik's Mining and Construction business area, through Sandvik Tamrock, recently received two major orders for machinery, tools and other equipment for mines and construction work in Australia and Indonesia.
The total order value is approximately SEK 120 M.
One order involves drilling rigs and loaders to one of the world's largest mining companies, US-based Peabody Resources Limited, for its operations in Ridgeway, Australia. The second order is for underground trucks and loaders to P.T. Freeport, Indonesia, the world's largest copper mine. This order also includes establishing service and spare parts facility.
