In this role, you’ll be at the center of a highly collaborative, global process—coordinating complex shipments, managing logistics partners, and ensuring smooth execution from factory to customer delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and compare freight quotes from carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers to ensure cost-effective and reliable transportation solutions

  • Coordinate complex shipments for large, heavy equipment, including trucking, ocean freight, crane services, and specialized transport

  • Monitor production timelines and machine readiness to align shipping schedules with factory commitments

  • Partner with Sales Support to understand customer requirements, Incoterms, delivery expectations, and documentation needs

  • Track shipments in transit and maintain accurate status reporting, including key milestones and delivery timelines

  • Communicate shipment updates, risks, and delays clearly and proactively to internal stakeholders

  • Identify and mitigate potential risks such as scheduling conflicts, port congestion, or equipment constraints

  • Collaborate with internal teams during high-volume periods to meet shipping commitments

  • Ensure timely preparation and coordination of shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading

Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

  • Technical Knowledge

    • Understanding of Incoterms and their impact on shipping responsibility and risk

    • Familiarity with logistics requirements for heavy or oversized equipment

    • Working knowledge of shipping documentation, including export and freight documentation

  • Core Competencies

    • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

    • Proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify and escalate risks early

    • Effective communication and collaboration skills across teams and regions

  • Preferred Experience

    • Experience in logistics, shipping coordination, freight forwarding, or manufacturing environments

    • Experience coordinating oversized, heavy-haul, or international shipments

    • Familiarity with export requirements and global shipping processes
