Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Rotary Drilling Division
Shape the commercial direction of a global rotary drilling business. As Vice President, Sales and Marketing, you lead the global commercial agenda, accelerate profitable growth and strengthen strategic customer partnerships across the surface mining industry.
Your mission
You develop and execute commercial priorities for the Rotary Drilling Division, expanding market share and supporting its long-term business objectives. Working across functions and regions, you foster safety, sustainability, operational excellence and continuous improvement.
You’re a member of the Division Management Team and report to the Division President.
Job responsibilities
- Lead and develop the global Sales and Marketing team supporting rotary drilling equipment sales.
- Strengthen executive-level relationships with mining customers and strategic stakeholders.
- Partner with Sales Areas, major project teams and business line leaders to identify opportunities, develop account strategies and improve win rates.
- Advance commercial excellence through effective sales processes, tender support, negotiations, forecasting and performance management.
- Drive profitable growth through value-based selling, disciplined margin management and business development.
- Use customer feedback, market intelligence, competitive analysis and CRM tools to improve customer satisfaction and market positioning.
Location and flexibility
This position is based in Alachua, Florida, USA. Domestic and international travel of up to 25% is required.

Your background includes
- A relevant bachelor's degree, or higher.
- Extensive progressive leadership experience in sales, business development or strategic partnerships, preferably within the capital equipment industry.
- A demonstrated record of driving sales growth, managing complex high-value opportunities and delivering long-term customer value in the mining industry.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including strategic account management, forecasting, pipeline management and performance management.
- The ability to influence stakeholders and operate effectively in a global matrix organization.
- Experience with open-pit mining operations and rotary drilling applications is advantageous.

The team
You lead the global Sales and Marketing team and work closely with Sales Areas, major project teams, business line leaders, account managers and key customers. Together, you create a consistent customer experience across functions, divisions and geographical regions.
