Test Mine Development Engineer
Our Test Mine organisation is looking for a Test Mine Development Engineer. The role is full-time, permanent and located in Tampere (Myllypuro), Finland.
Test Mine organisation is operating two testing facilities, underground Test Mine and surface Test Pit. Our task is to provide Product Lines, RTD and R&D testing facilities and support in technology development. We are continuously running wide variety development projects which range from facility development, digitalisation, mining processes and our own daily operation processes.
Your role
As a Test Mine Development Engineer you take part of the development activities based on your core copetencies.
• Drive, develop and own the roadmap of Test Mine’s development portfolio
• Run projects and activities as a Project Manager
• Other daily operational tasks as a part of Test Mine management team for example supporting Product Lines testing, hosting visitors and managing subcontractors.
Your background and what we find important
We are looking for a person who have a suitable set of following qualities:
• Suitable technical education in mining engineering
• Several years working experience in real mine
• Hands on experience on drilling
• Valid blasting license
• Understanding of mining processes and mine operations
• Its beneficial if you have experience about mine designing tools
• Fluent written and spoken English and Finnish language skill is must in our working environment
• Continuous development kind of mind set
