Finance Specialist

Job Purpose:

To support the day-to-day financial operations of the Rock Processing unit, ensuring accuracy in banking transactions, accounts receivables, invoicing, data analysis and reconciliation. This role serves as a key contributor to the monthly closing process, audit readiness, financial control support and cross-functional financial data integrity.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Banking & Cash Management: Process daily bank transactions including payments, receipts, and reconciliations; monitor cash positions and prepare periodic cash flow reports.
  • Accounts Receivable: Manage receivable accounts; issue bills, track aging, and timely follow up on outstanding balances with affiliated entities.sales Invoicing issue accurate and timely
  • Invoice, Customs Declaration & GL Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliation between sales invoices, customs declaration records, and general ledger accounts; identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Export Tax Rebate Support: Liaise with external agents to ensure complete and accurate documentation for export tax rebate applications; track rebate progress and resolve any issues to maintain smooth workflows.
  • Annual Audit Support: Prepare audit schedules, compile supporting documents, and respond to auditor requests during interim and year-end audits.
  • Reporting : Prepare and submit periodic financial reports (e.g., monthly/quarterly closing schedules, variance analysis, aging reports, and cash position summaries) to the Accounting Manager; support consolidation and group reporting requirements as needed.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks: Undertake other finance-related assignments as delegated by the Accounting Manager.

Required Competencies:

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to identify discrepancies, trace root causes, and propose practical solutions.
  • Integrity & Confidentiality: Strong ethical standards when handling sensitive financial data.
  • Time Management: Capable of prioritizing multiple deadlines (month-end, audit, reporting cycles).
  • Communication: Effective written and verbal English skills to liaise with intercompany counterparts and external stakeholders.
  • Team Collaboration: Works well within a cross-functional finance team and with operational departments.

Education & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of relevant experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably within a multinational or manufacturing environment. Fresh graduates with strong internships may be considered.
  • Skills: Microsoft office, especially excel usage. ERP system knowledge.

Certification If required:

Local accounting certification (e.g., Primary/Intermediate Accounting Professional Certificate)
