Sandvik helps Hawaiian cement produce sand locally

A revolutionary VSI crusher (pictured) from Sandvik has helped Oahu-based Hawaiian Cement to supply badly needed aggregates and cement products for the island's construction industry.
Hawaiian Cement had previously been forced to import sand from British Columbia, more than 2,000 miles away.
The company can now supply materials of the highest quality for the island's infrastructure projects and reduce its own carbon footprint by being able to use naturally occurring resources.
