Today, we have ongoing R&D programs in several areas. Examples are:

Sustainability-driving innovations

To reach our sustainability goals we have, for example, defined improved resource efficiency and reduced CO₂ emissions to be part of all R&D projects. We have also created an ideas hub where all employees can easily contribute with their ideas and innovations.

Innovation prizes

Each year Sandvik awards two prizes to employees to stimulate and reward significant efforts in industrial innovation. These prizes are the Haglund Medal and the Sandvik Innovation Prize.
