Business area Sandvik Manufacturing and Machining Solutions is a global market-leading manufacturer of tools and tooling systems for advanced industrial metal cutting. In recent years, it has expanded into the areas of digital manufacturing solutions, additive manufacturing and in-line metrology.

The business area consists of two business area segments – Sandvik Machining Solutions and Sandvik Manufacturing Solutions.

Sandvik Machining Solutions

Business area segment Sandvik Machining Solutions provides tools, tooling systems and services that optimize machining operations such as turning, milling and drilling. Services include, for example, logistic solutions and productivity improvement programs. The business area segment holds several market-leading brands for its metal-cutting offering which operate independently from each other.

Business area segment Sandvik Manufacturing Solutions covers the areas of digital manufacturing and software solutions, additive manufacturing and industrial metrology. These are areas where Sandvik is s uniquely positioned due to its extensive industry experience and expertise in advanced materials and materials shaping. The offering spans the entire component manufacturing value chain – from design and planning to preparation, production and verification.
