Product Manager – Mine Development Tools

At the Rock Tools division within our Mining business area, we’re on an ambitious journey to outpace market growth—and our top hammer drilling tools business is a key driver of that success. To support this mission, we’re now looking for a strategic and business-savvy Product Manager to lead our Mine Development portfolio.

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders across continents, shaping solutions that drive performance in mining operations worldwide. Your mission
In this position, you’re responsible for overseeing the development, lifecycle and market success of our top hammer rock drilling tools. To ensure that the products meet industry demands and exceed customer expectations, you work in close collaboration with R&D, manufacturing, sales areas, marketing teams and the Rock Tools division. You set requirements and give directions to ensure that goals and deadlines are met.

Your job also includes:

  • Ensuring growth of the top hammer tool business.
  • Developing the product roadmap in alignment with our strategic goals and in close collaboration with other product lines and divisions.
  • Conducting thorough market research and analyzing user feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Leading and driving the introduction of new products as well as making decisions in the out-phasing of products.

The location for this position is Sandviken, Sweden. Some travel is included to meet with stakeholders, customers and support team efforts across different locations.

Your profile
We’re looking for someone with extensive experience in product management or other relevant background, preferably within the mining and construction sector. You have a proven track record of managing projects, from inception to completion. Your knowledge is backed by a university degree in engineering or another related field. Acting in a global environment calls for good skills in English, verbally and in writing. Knowledge of Swedish or Spanish is advantageous.

With excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, you articulate product visions and updates, as well as inspire and guide cross-functional teams. You have a strategic and problem-solving mindset, enabling you to address challenges, find innovative solutions and make data-driven decisions. You have the ability to adapt to changing market conditions and business priorities.
