Shipping and Receiving Coordinator
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will be responsible for all aspects of order preparation, shipping, receiving, and material handling / expediting functions.
Primary Area of Responsibility
Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
Record and maintain accurate receiving logs, including quantities, item descriptions, and supplier information.
Coordinate with purchasing and inventory teams to resolve discrepancies or incomplete shipments.
Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and placement of received goods in the appropriate locations.
Update inventory systems and communicate receiving details to relevant departments.
Collaborate with suppliers and freight carriers to schedule and track incoming deliveries.
Prepare and distribute receiving reports to internal stakeholders.
Maintain a clean and organized receiving area in compliance with safety standards.
Assist with returns or rejected shipments, ensuring appropriate documentation and coordination.
Support periodic inventory counts and audits.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as required.
Required Qualifications
Full time, day shift with overtime available as required
