Business Development Specialist - Ground Support
Business Growth & Development
Identify and engage prospective customers to generate new business opportunities.
Support business planning, including marketing initiatives and sales targets.
Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training for customers.
Perform site visits (mines, tunnels, construction sites) to understand customer needs and build relationships.
Carry out technical activities such as pull tests, installation audits, and reporting.
Identify opportunities for existing and new products.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
Develop and execute territory action plans to achieve sales objectives.
Maintain strong industry relationships and customer networks.
Support forecasting, budgeting, and sales reporting.
Prepare quotations, process orders, and use ERP systems when required.
Leadership
Ensure all activities align with company values, policies, and procedures.
General
Take on additional tasks as assigned by the manager.

Job Requirements
Minimum Diploma qualifications in Mining Engineering and/or Operations, Mining Technology, or Business Administration
Experience in sales and marketing within the mining, construction, or tunneling industries (preferably underground)
Strong presentation skills and system
Excellent customer relations skills.
Ability to travel up to 60% of the time.
Must be able to work underground at all mines/tunnel/construction sites across the regional territory.
Able to train end users on installation methods of all GS ground support products.
Bilingual in both “local” and English would be considered an asset (depending on location)
