Job Title: Lead Taxation

Location: Pune

Reporting to: Tax Head

Overview of the Role:

Supporting the organization by completing all the tax Compliances
Ensuring no defaults/delays in tax compliances/payments
Mitigating exposure of company arising due to any adverse tax positions
Managing tax risks
Minimize the tax litigation
Setting the appropriate tax processes and policies within organization

Responsibilities:

Ensuring timely closure of all Direct Tax compliances (Tax returns with computation of income, tax audits, SFT compliance, Dividend compliance)
Responsible for all transfer pricing compliances including accountants report, TP reports, Master file, CBCR, TP adjustments etc.
Preparation of quarterly advance tax workings
Supporting cross functional teams by analyzing withholding tax implications
Participation and support to audits by statutory and internal
Handle litigations in partnership with the internal and external stakeholders including consultants
Preparation of briefs, meeting and discussions with Tax Counsels
Monthly reporting tax activities in the Group reporting system
Supporting Group tax with queries and local assistance
Responsible for tax compliances of overseas entities in India

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

Knowledge of Direct & Indirect Tax Laws of India
Knowledge of International tax treaties
Exposure to tax litigation and dispute resolution process
Exposure to Interpersonal skills

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:

Chartered Accountant with minimum 6-8 years experience post qualification in the field of Accounting, Auditing, Treasury and Company Law matters.
4+ Years of Managerial/ Leadership experience.
