The Smash-proof Guitar proves its effect

Sandvik´s Guitar campaign won three new awards at the ceremony “The 100-Watt”. A recognition for campaigns that have proved its effect.

It´s the Swedish Advertisers Association that every year award campaigns in different categories with the aim to reward communication that works and has a proven power. Sandvik was nominated in three categories - Employer Branding, International and Company - and won gold (100 Watt) in the first one, silver (75 Watt) in the second and bronze (50 Watt) in the third category.

“A campaign that made Sandvik go from anonymous to relevant and interesting. Based on an unexpected insight, it shows what good engineering skills can lead to. The result: A huge global impact, increased interest in working at Sandvik and a smashed amplifier,” it says in the motivation from the jury.

Recently the Guitar campaign was also acknowledged at the Swedish employer branding contest The Magnet Award, where the Smash-proof Guitar won gold in two categories: Film & Video and Open Class.
