KEY PEFORMANCE AREA
Develop tools and reports to perform extensive research on a wide range of inventory-related functions such as order fulfillment, inventory levels, shipping times, and freight costs to identify and recommend opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness, and capabilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Create and maintain various reports to support strategic supply chain analysis.
- Utilize ERP system along with 3rd party software to develop various dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators.
- Maintain all supply chain reports to ensure data accuracy
- Works with regional sales teams & planning department regarding supply and demand forecasting to ensure a consistent supply of material to meet customer demands.
- Works with regional logistics coordinators to ensure adherence to order management process.
- Research issues and responds with solutions regarding deliveries/sales orders from customers.
- Processes sales orders, e-tickets, deliveries, invoices, and credit memos as needed in support of other Team members.
- Demonstrate the ability to multitask and prioritize workflow in a fast-paced environment.
PROFILE
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily during a 90-day probationary period. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's Degree and 4 + years of Supply Chain experience
Associate degree with 6+ years of Supply Chain experience
Competencies
- Advanced knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP systems
- Experienced with interfacing 3rd party add-on software to ERP system for advanced reporting purposes
- Experience setting up MRP/DRP system parameters
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Strong Analytical Skills
- Strong Communication Skills
- Certification in APICS preferred
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
