About the role:

The Supply Manager will lead the supply chain operations, including quality control for the GET & Buckets business to optimize the supply network and value chain. In this role you will report to the General Manager, GET & Buckets and the position will be based in Perth, WA

As the Supply Manager you strategically manage supply scheduling and forecasting, and you actively identify ways to improve the GET & Buckets supply chain performance. You analyse and report on supply and manufacturing data and you prepare and monitor progress of operation budgets and set forecasts for inventory levels to meet business requirements.

You oversee operational quality control activities to ensure quality in the manufacturing process and you work with Sourcing to manage supply network relationships, actively locate potential new suppliers, both locally and internationally and develop second line suppliers – particularly for foundry work.

Working closely with the logistics and distribution function you manage local and global inventory levels and plan, analyse, and manage the inventory and purchasing requirements to maintain optimum fill rates, balance inventory levels and ensure customer issues are dealt with as they arise.

About You:

To excel in this role, you have at least 5 years’ experience in a supply and materials management role including the purchasing of technical products and materials. You have a business degree and qualifications in supply chain management. You are experienced in inventory management including forecasting, distribution planning, sourcing, and expediting and have a good understanding of manufacturing operations. Experience of the foundry and casting process is a distinct advantage.

You are highly organised, and goal focussed and an excellent communicator. You are proactive by nature and you have an eye for detail. As a business leader you have a strong track record for coaching and leading people to achieve success. As the organization is a global player, you naturally have well-developed English skills. As a role model to the business, you will demonstrate visible and proactive safety leadership.
