At Sandvik Coromant, we are now looking for an IT Demand Manager to support a stable and smooth working IT platform for eCommerce (B2B). This is a position with great opportunities to grow and develop, with the challenge to support four product areas within Sandvik Machining Solutions (SMS) and ensure collaboration and agreements to follow the same procedures. This independent role, with many good colleagues in a great atmosphere, allows the right person to build a strong network and create contacts with responsible parties for eCommerce within each division.

The location for this position is Sandviken but you work in a global environment.

Key performance areas

As IT Demand Manager, you are the process manager supporting the system owner responsible for the eCommerce platform. However, this is not only a pure IT role, you also build business relationships, and act as a contact for clients who want to integrate IT in relation to our applications.

System ownership support includes:

- Following up the SLA, budget, incidents and requests

- Life cycle management of systems - planning and coordinating system upgrades and maintenance

- Handling improvements and planning - coordinate system improvements and extensions

- Developing and maintaining system frameworks

Demand management includes:

- Supporting the SMS business in digital processes for Sales, Purchasing, Supply/Distribution and Finance

- Collecting requests and requirements from business and converting them into IT solutions

- Developing, maintaining and governing internal processes for requirements collection, project implementation

and support

- Developing, maintaining and governing eCommerce processes

- Performing eCommerce training for the SMS business

- Supporting SMS’s business with eCommerce-related questions

You are project manager for certain initiatives and, on a global basis, you have contact with end clients and act as point of contact with the IT departments for large clients of major importance to SMS. You have no direct reports, but oversee a group of consultants based in the Czech Republic and you have responsibility for cost, coordination and delivery for this support-and-development team.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with at least a Bachelors’ in IT and previous experience from eCommerce and system integration is beneficial. Experience from working with MS BizTalk are beneficial. Systems and operations supported are SMS B2B, CatMan, PunchOut and eComm web services. You have good skills in English, in both writing and speaking, while it is beneficial if you speak Swedish and, as Germany is a large market, also German.
