We are looking for an experienced and visionary Product Management Project Director to join our Product Management and R&D (PMRD) leadership team. In this high-impact role, you will not only lead a team of Project Leaders but also personally manage strategic, business-critical projects that shape our global product portfolio.
The location for this role is flexible globally.
About the Role
As Product Management Project Director, you will be responsible for driving the successful execution of product development and introduction projects, ensuring alignment with our Product Offer Roadmap and overall company strategy. You will lead by example, balancing hands-on project delivery with strategic leadership.
Your role will be crucial in:
Delivering on strategic goals: Ensuring projects meet ROI, timelines, and quality standards.
Leading a team of Project Leaders: Developing their skills, competence, and impact.
Cross-functional collaboration: Working closely with stakeholders across Product Owners, Sales, Supply, and R&D.
Continuous improvement: Driving efficiency, change management, and innovation within project management practices.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Project Leaders to achieve high standards of execution.
Manage selected high-priority projects, ensuring successful delivery against defined KPIs (ROI, on-time delivery, budget adherence, and project success rate).
Oversee project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and reporting.
Build strong stakeholder relationships and ensure clear communication across all functions.
Recommend and implement schedule changes, budget adjustments, scope refinements, and resource reallocations as needed.
What we are looking for
To succeed in this role, you will need a unique combination of leadership skills, strategic insight and practical project expertise:
Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in project management and delivery of complex, high-value projects.
Strong leadership experience, managing individuals and teams of project managers (5+ years).
Expert knowledge of project and change management methodologies and tools (preferably 20+ years)
Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
Experience in an international environment, working across cultures and markets (10+ years)
Organized for results with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Academic education: MBA or BA/BS in a relevant field.
Willingness to travel abroad for business meetings, attending meetings and conferences.
