Job Purpose:

  • Improve sales and overall business growth

  • Deploy the solutions developed by integrated solutions at customers to secure business.

  • Identify and clearly communicate current and future industry solution needs to ensure relevant developments are made

  • Provide industry solutions technical support and knowledge to support closure of sales opportunities

  • Align Product Area strategies with Sales Execution

  • Secure competence in Sales relevant to industry segment(s)

  • Enable closure of prioritized deals

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Front Line Sales in converting prioritized sales pipelines to orders by assessing business opportunity and providing solution knowledge

  • Co-develop and execute tactics for local business plans together with sales clusters

  • Proactively train Front Line Sales and provide technical know-how to customers to ensure high sales efficiency

  • Ensure high quality opportunity management by being active both in qualification of and in execution of growth opportunities

  • Own and lead replicate success for the solution offering (transfer success cases, share best practices)

  • Analyze sales team performance and together with Sales Cluster Managers recommend corrective actions for the relevant industries

  • Provide product and application solution support to front line sales, projects and customers

  • Support prioritized customer events

  • Assist market research programs and competitor investigations

In addition, the employee may be assigned other duties within the area of their competence.

Experience:

  • Experience from working with different customer types (Advanced production) and in different industries [e.g. Aerospace, Defense, Semiconductors, etc].

  • Relevant industry knowledge and total solution approach

  • Solid and proven technical experience with engineering cutting tools skills and knowledge.

  • Min 7-12 years of relevant experience

  • Proven track record in delivering good business results.

  • Solid knowledge of commercial and technical terms and conditions with industrial customers.

  • Relevant application knowledge

  • Project management knowledge and experience is an advantage

Education:

Degree or equivalent qualification in mechanical/manufacturing engineering or a related field.
