We are now recruiting for a Power BI Developer for a permanent role in our Dublin Office.
JOB PURPOSE
The Business Intelligence team’s mission is to deliver rapid, high-impact insights that drive business decisions. We are evolving beyond traditional BI to embrace modern data architecture, automation, and AI-driven analytics. Our focus is on understanding business challenges, identifying the right data, and delivering solutions that create measurable value.
As a Power BI Developer, you will collaborate with data engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to design and develop advanced data products. This role offers exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, Git-based workflows, Databricks integration, advanced metadata management, and agentic AI embedded into our BI ecosystem.We are looking for a self-motivated, innovative, and passionate data professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and wants to be at the forefront of BI technology.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with stakeholders to review business requirements and translate them into scalable BI solution designs.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain Power BI data products, including reports, and semantic models.
- Implement best practices for CI/CD and version control using Azure DevOps.
- Work closely with data engineers, delivery team, and business stakeholders in designing and implement innovative solutions.
- Stay ahead of industry trends by exploring new Power BI features, Microsoft Fabric capabilities, and AI-driven enhancements, recommending improvements to existing solutions.
- Contribute to metadata management and governance for consistent and trusted reporting.
- Promote knowledge sharing within the BI community.
- Drive innovation by implementingnext-generation BI solutions.
- Contribute to global analytics initiatives that shape strategic decisions.
- Gain hands-on experience with AI-driven automation and modern delivery practices.
- Play a key role in building scalable, intelligent data products for a global enterprise.
- Other ad hoc duties as requested by management.
Experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing or working with Power BI solutions (including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling).
- At least basic to intermediate experience in analysing data through SQL.
- Strong working knowledge of Business Intelligence concepts and proven experience developing Power BI solutions.
- Solid understanding of data modeling techniques and ability to translate business requirements into effective data models.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data collection, organization, and interpretation.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, demonstrating strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Willingness to learn and adopt modern delivery practices such as CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, and Git-based workflows.
- Exposure to Databricks or similar data engineering platforms is a plus.
Education, Licenses & Certificates
- At least a bachelors degree in a relevant subject.
- Power BI or Data Engineering certifications is desirable.
