About the Opportunity

As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading sales activities, developing strategic plans, and driving revenue growth across your portfolio. You will play a critical role in strengthening customer relationships, guiding your team to deliver value-based solutions, and ensuring alignment with Sandvik’s broader business objectives.

Working closely with customers, internal stakeholders, and senior leaders, you will balance strategic planning with hands-on leadership to deliver strong commercial outcomes while fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and executing regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.

  • Managing, coaching, and developing a high-performing sales team.

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.

  • Driving pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting accuracy.

  • Supporting tender submissions, contract negotiations, and pricing strategies.

  • Analysing market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.

  • Ensuring compliance with Sandvik’s safety, governance, and ethical standards.


About you

You are a confident leader with strong commercial acumen and a customer-first mindset. You will bring:

  • Proven experience in sales leadership, business development, or commercial management, ideally within mining or heavy industry.

  • Demonstrated success in leading and developing sales teams.

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • The ability to translate strategy into actionable sales plans.

  • A data-driven approach to decision-making and performance management.

  • A tertiary qualification in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline (preferred).
