Sandvik named ”Listed company of the year 2023”
“Listed company of the year” (Årets börsbolag) is Sweden’s most extensive ranking within investor relations and financial communication and it is now official that Sandvik is Listed company of the year 2023.
The competition was founded by Aktiespararna in 1980 and has been arranged by consultancy company Kanton since 2007. The criteria are based on international research in the field of Investor Relations.
All companies listed on OMX Stockholm 30 and OMX Nordic 40 are included in Kanton’s audit.
Sandvik and the other nominees (SKF, Investor, Boliden, UPM-Kymmene) scored highest on the criteria's best interim report, best annual report and best IR website, based on international research in the field of Investor Relations. The jury evaluated and compared the nominees and appointed Sandvik to Årets börsbolag 2023 for having exemplary transparent, unitary and consistent information in financial reports and on the IR website.
“We strive to communicate our value creating strategy consistently in all three communication channels, and for example ensure that also the interim report clearly show our strategic progress. That is why we for example have added a shift to growth section on each business area page where we highlight recent innovations or acquisitions,” says Louise Tjeder, Head of Investor Relations.
