Sandvik’s global resources and expertise for stainless steel and heating technology united in a new service offering
Sandvik is introducing a new service offering to meet growing industry requirements for expertise in the areas of stainless steel, special alloys and industrial heating.
The extended offering brings together Sandvik’s global expertise and resources within the areas of advanced materials and heating technology to help customers make their processes more reliable and efficient. The new services include, for example, support in equipment design, life-cycle assessments, failure analysis and customized testing.
“This means we expand our support to cover the entire value chain, and also contribute to reduce complexity, safety and environmental hazards in industrial operations. The main goal is to boost productivity by increasing process efficiency and minimize downtime due to equipment failure and maintenance”, said Petra Einarsson, Head of the Sandvik Materials Technology business area.
The service offering is underpinned by Sandvik’s unique capabilities and long history as a leading developer and producer of advanced stainless steel, furnace products and heating systems.
