Olof Faxander nominated to prestigious Diversity Award

Olof Faxander, President and CEO has been nominated to the prestigious Diversity Award - CEO driving Diversity, run by Sweden's leading Management Magazine "Manager".

The motivation for the nomination is "Olof Faxander has from a business perspective clearly linked diversity to the business strategy and has with a structured way of working within the entire organization contributed to clear results".

Sandvik has a clear focus on diversity and inclusion, which means respecting and leveraging employees personal and cultural differences. Olof Faxander is recognized for Sandvik's clear strategy and targets for diversity and inclusion, which include increasing the share of women in managerial positions globally in the organization.

The winner of the award "CEO driving Diversity" will be announced 18 March 2015.
