New President of Sandvik Steel

Ola Rollén, President of Sandvik Steel, will be leaving the Sandvik Group.

He has stated that his decision is based on family reasons and that he will assume the post as President of the Hexagon Group in Stockholm.

Lars Pettersson, currently President of the Sandvik Tooling business area and President of Sandvik Coromant, who was previously appointed Executive Vice President within the Sandvik Group as of 1 May 2000, has already today assumed this position while concurrently being appointed the new President of Sandvik Steel.

Effective today, Sandvik's President and CEO Clas Åke Hedström will take over the position as President of Sandvik Tooling. Anders Thelin, who was previously appointed new President of Sandvik Coromant as of 1 May 2000, will assume this position today.
