Inventory Specialist – Kenwick, WA
About the Opportunity
Sandvik is currently seeking an experienced Inventory Specialist to join the GET & Buckets team in Kenwick, WA. As an Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory to support procurement, manufacturing, and sales activities across the business.
You’ll work closely with global suppliers, logistics teams, and internal stakeholders to optimise stocking strategies, maintain high-quality ERP data, and ensure efficient flow of materials.
Your expertise will directly support demand planning, reduce excess inventory, and enhance supply chain responsiveness.
Responsibilities:
Strong knowledge of supply chain management processes
High computer literacy with ERP system experience and strong Excel/data analysis skills
Excellent communication skills and strong organisational/timemanagement capability
Ability to analyse, report on, and improve inventory KPIs and processes
Proven experience in process mapping and development of work instructions
Good general business acumen and continuous improvement mindset (Lean/Six Sigma beneficial)
About you:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a related inventory or supply chain role
Demonstrated experience in analysing and reporting on inventory KPIs
Demonstrated experience in inventory process mapping and documentation
Degree in business, supply chain, or a related discipline (or equivalent) (desirable)
General understanding of Aftermarket business and ability to travel within the region (desirable)
