Inventory Planner

Our Regional Planning team lays the groundwork for efficient product delivery by analyzing data, identifying trends, and planning smart production and distribution strategies. With your expertise, you’ll help drive our ongoing success!
About your job
You manage the commercial impact of inventory activities by streamlining the transport and control of finished goods. You lead regional development initiatives, introducing new ways of working with systems, processes, and documentation. Collaboration is essential, as you serve as a key partner to the global Supply Chain Development team, sales, and other stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support the Sales Area with inventory and replenishment, maintaining stock levels.
- Liaise with Sales and Customer Service on delivery issues, handling regional buying and sourcing alternatives.
- Optimize local inventory, manage slow-moving items and returns, perform inventory analytics, and oversee order management.
- Set up new contracts and consignment systems and manage regional logistics.
- Contribute to the Regional Sales and Operations Planning process (S&OP).
Location
You’re based in Sandviken. Some international and domestic travel is a natural part of the job.
Your profile
We’re looking for someone with qualifications in supply or inventory management discipline (certificate or above) or demonstrable experience in inventory planning. A background in mining or heavy industry and familiarity with Power BI or other business intelligence tools is essential. Your excellent problem solving and analytical skills are supported by your expertise in MS Excel and proficiency in SAP S4/HANA Order Management or Materials Management. You consistently achieve organizational goals with enthusiasm and drive. Excellent English communication skills are necessary; Swedish is an advantage.
