Logistics Operator C-1

Sandvik Mining, a global leader in equipment, tools, service, and technical solutions for the mining industry is looking for a Logistics Operator to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring that our warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently, supporting our customers and field teams with timely, accurate handling of parts and materials.

Key Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and parts according to established procedures.
Prepare and package materials for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality of outgoing orders.
Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain accurate inventory records by performing regular counts, audits, and system updates.
Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality standards within the warehouse.
Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and service teams to meet delivery timelines and resolve discrepancies.
Assist in optimizing warehouse layout, space utilization, and operational procedures to improve efficiency.

Your Profile

High school diploma or equivalent required.
2+ years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment preferred.
Forklift certification (or ability to obtain one) required.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately follow shipping, receiving, and documentation procedures.
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory or ERP systems (e.g., SAP) preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods in a warehouse setting.
Team-oriented attitude with a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.
