Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology, a Business Area of Sandvik Group, is one of the world’s leading providers of equipment and solutions for mineral exploration, surface and underground mining, bulk-materials handling, and environmental restoration. About SMC Logistics

SMC Logistics Ltd supports product areas within the business area Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology (SMRT) with activities related to the distribution of aftermarket parts and rock tools. SMC Logistics manages 23 warehouses across 13 countries. In 2017, the turnover of SMC Logistics was €1.2 billion.

We are now recruiting for a Parts Inventory Replenishment Planner - (Hybrid) - for a permanent role in our Dublin Office.

JOB PURPOSE

As Inventory Replenishment Planner, the person will be responsible for organizing and developing the Inventory Replenishment plan between the key hubs (2 global hubs and 4 regional hubs). The person will manage their activities to ensure the best performance and service to key stakeholders.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform inventory Replenishments distribution.
  • Optimize global inventory through Redistribution process.
  • Propose continuous improvements
  • Conduct detailed analysis using Business Intelligence
  • Managing process exceptions.
  • Support system improvements
  • Support Global Planning and projects as needed.
  • Ensures process documentation is kept up to date
  • Develop strong working relationships, including GIM team, Logistics Services teams
  • Other ad hoc duties as requested by management.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years working experience in Supply Chain.
  • Highly proficient in Data Analysis (PBi), SAP S/4HANA and the Office 365 suite.
  • Good level of understand of how Inventory operates & relevant workstream knowledge.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong Communication & Collaboration Skills.
  • Works well within a team and stakeholders.
  • Works well independently and is dependable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail

Education, Licenses & Certificates

  • Bachelor of Science Degree
  • MSc in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management is preferred.
