Warehouse Operator

As a Warehouse Operator you will be responsible the accurate picking, packing, check off and putting away of parts. You will contribute to departmental OKR’s by accurately picking correct parts and quantities, highlighting stock discrepancies, and ensuring parts are delivered to production on time and to an acceptable quality standard. You will also be responsible for reporting any hazards or incidents and will adhere to all Health & Safety Policies and Quality standards. The stores operator may be required to help in other functions within the wider logistics team as and when required.

Main Responsibilities

  • Promote and maintain a proactive, safe working environment at all times.
  • Ensure administration and operation of the organisation's Warehouse Inventory process
  • Ensure timely completion of all putaway and kitting activities to the highest Quality standards in order to exceed our customer expectations
  • Drives efficiency and productivity with team members
  • Work as part of the warehouse team to ensure receipt, storage and kitting of materials and related reporting in accordance with established procedures.
  • Work as part of the warehouse team to complete Cycle counts and ensure stock accuracy is to the forefront of all activities
  • Ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization and maintenance and protection for facilities and equipment
  • Work timely and efficiently to kitting schedules and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space
  • Attend toolbox talks, Business Updates & relevant presentations as required.
  • Complete general Housekeeping activities in warehouse on a regular basis
  • Ensure that workplace audits and inspections are carried out to schedule when required.
  • Act an ambassador for our company values and adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Build and develop EHS culture as part of the wider warehouse and Logistics teams

Essential Criteria

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment
  • Experience using ERP or WMS systems

Desirable Criteria

  • Trained and experienced on safe operation forklifts, pallet trucks and other warehouse equipment (Forklift License- Counter Balance B1, D1 Reach truck license)
